Terms of Use
Effective October 19, 2026. These terms are also the end user license agreement (EULA) for the Canless app.
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Dominik Wojtucki, Dačická 137, 109 00 Praha, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 30160413 ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Canless, you agree to them. The agreement is between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Canless and its content.
2. Who can use Canless
You must be 18 or older.
3. Canless is not medical advice
- Canless is a self-help tool for cutting down and quitting nicotine pouches and snus. It is not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and it doesn't replace a doctor.
- Talk to a healthcare professional before you change your nicotine use, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a heart condition or another health problem, or take medication.
- Health information in the app is general. Everyone is different, and we can't promise any result.
- If you feel seriously unwell, call your local emergency number.
4. Your license
We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Canless on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms. Family Sharing may let others in your family group use it too. You may not copy, modify, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
5. Your account and your data
- An account is optional. Without one, your data lives only on your iPhone. If you lose or reset the phone, the data may be lost.
- With an account, your data is backed up and synced. Keep access to your email or Apple or Google account safe.
- Your data belongs to you. You let us store and process it only to provide Canless, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You can delete your account and data at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account).
6. Canless Pro subscriptions
- Canless Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, weekly or yearly. There is no free trial. The app shows the price and length before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same length, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings on your iPhone (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or from Canless (Settings → Cancel subscription). Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Discounted offers show their price, length, and what you pay afterward before you accept. When the offer period ends, the regular price applies.
- You buy Canless Pro through Apple's App Store. Apple handles billing and refunds. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. In the EU, Apple also handles the right of withdrawal under its terms.
- If a subscription price changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent.
7. Support
We, not Apple, are responsible for maintaining and supporting Canless. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. Contact us at [email protected].
8. Fair use
Don't misuse Canless. Don't try to break or overload it, access other people's data, or use it for anything illegal.
9. Our content
The app, its design, text, and the Canless name and logo belong to us. If someone claims that Canless infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will investigate and handle the claim.
10. Changes to Canless
We keep improving Canless and may add, change, or remove features. If we remove a key feature of Canless Pro, we'll tell you in advance. We provide updates that keep the app working as described, as the law requires.
11. Warranty
If you're a consumer, you have legal rights, for example if the app doesn't work as described. These terms don't limit those rights. If Canless doesn't meet a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Canless. Any other claims, losses, or costs caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's.
12. Our liability
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. We are also liable wherever the law doesn't allow liability to be limited. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damage, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Canless in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Product claims
We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims from you or third parties about Canless or your use of it. This includes product liability claims, claims that Canless doesn't meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
14. Other services
When you use Canless, you must also follow the terms of the other services you use with it, such as Apple, Google, and your mobile carrier.
15. Export rules
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or one the U.S. Government has designated as "terrorist supporting." You also confirm that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
16. Apple as a third-party beneficiary
You and we agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.
17. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Canless and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if it seriously breaks these terms. We'll tell you why, unless the law prevents it. Canceling the agreement doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel that with Apple (see section 6).
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or the app changes. We'll tell you about important changes in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Canless, delete your account, and cancel your subscription before then.
19. Law and disputes
- These terms are governed by Czech law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
- Please contact us first. We'll try to solve any problem quickly.
- Consumers can also use out-of-court dispute resolution. The body for Czechia is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, adr.coi.cz).
- As a consumer, you can also go to court in the country where you live.
