What Canless does

  • A personal plan from a short questionnaire: quit on a date you choose, or cut down step by step toward a quit date.
  • One-tap pouch logging with brand and strength in mg, from the app, a home screen widget or the app icon.
  • Craving mode: a 5-minute timer with three guided breathing rhythms (extended exhale, box and 4-7-8).
  • Progress on a 3D mountain with a camp at each milestone, plus streaks for pouch-free days and days on plan.
  • Statistics: pouches avoided, nicotine avoided, money kept and cravings handled.
  • A "What to expect" timeline of the days and weeks after quitting, with sources listed.
  • Discreet reminders with neutral wording.

Who builds Canless

Canless is made by an independent developer. It is not funded by, and has no ties to, any nicotine or tobacco company. Canless never earns money from ads or from selling data.

Guides on this site are written by the Canless Team. Every health statement links to its source so you can check it.

How we source health information

  • Only cited facts. Every statement about health, withdrawal or nicotine links to its source. We use public health agencies (such as the CDC, FDA, National Cancer Institute, NHS, NSW Health and WHO) and peer-reviewed studies.
  • Same sources as the app. The "What to expect" timeline in the app and the guides on this site use the same sources and the same wording.
  • Honest about gaps. Most research on nicotine withdrawal comes from people who quit smoking. Research on nicotine pouches specifically is still limited, and we say so when that matters.
  • No promises. We never claim that Canless treats, cures or guarantees anything.
  • Dated and updated. Each guide shows when it was published and last updated. Spotted a mistake? Email [email protected] and we will fix it.
